Welcome to our bridal section! Every bridal ensemble we create is designed from the ground up to fit your vision for your perfect day. Please be aware all bridal orders involve at least 3 fittings and can take 3-6 months depending on complexity. Prices start at $6000 USD.
What The Process Involves:
To start, we begin with a consult. The consult costs $125 which will then be applied to the final amount if you decide to book. During this session we will talk inspirations, colors, materials, construction, and expectations for the garment, and sketch as many options as needed until we find the perfect design for you. Please bring any inspiration photos. I will not recreate anyone else’s work, but I love combining multiple elements from different designs.
Once we have your design picked, we will pick materials together, either from a book of swatches or a trip to a bridal fabric store. After that, we begin the mockup and fitting process. There are usually between three and six mockups and fittings, because it’s extremely important to make sure the fit is perfect. I prefer not to start on the dress more than nine months before the wedding, as it’s much easier to create something to fit properly than to have to alter it later.
The final garments often involve a lot a lot of hand work, hand stitched lace, applied crystals and applique, and bridal gowns often involve many many yards of material and quite a few layers. Quite a few of my bridal creations have a separate corset beneath a boned bodice, unless the corset shows. The entire process generally takes 2-6 months depending on complexity, and how closely fittings are spaced.
